About the role

An opportunity exists to work in a committed Christian team within the Secondary School, teaching in the English and HSIE KLA’s at MCS. Experience in Senior English, Business Studies, Economics, Legal Studies and/or Society and Culture is highly favourable.

This position is expected to start Term 1 NEXT Year.

Head of Primary

Medowie Christian School (MCS)

Commencing as a Primary School in 1995 with 41 students, Medowie Christian School has grown to over 450 students across Kindergarten to Year 12. The secondary years were introduced in 2005, with Stage 6 from 2014.

MCS’s purpose is to equip and empower students to reach their God given potential. As a community, we are committed to bringing students to life and helping prepare them to thrive in an ever changing world.

About this role

If you're looking to bring your experience, skills and faith to lead a Primary Department and strengthen the culture of a dynamic school community, then you're invited to consider this exciting opportunity.

The Head of Primary is a member of the School’s Leadership Team and is responsible for leading the Primary Team and for managing the day-to-day operations of the Primary Department, helping to develop a positive culture, professional excellence and Christian care.

This role would suit an experienced educator with executive leadership aspirations as well as those already in school leadership positions with strong aspirations to make a difference in a growing school.

The position commences in Term 1, 2022.
